The Chicago Bulls trounced the Washington Wizards 96-78 on Saturday night behind 25 points, four assists and four rebounds from D.J. Augustin.
The Bulls (45-32) have now won eight of their last 10 games while the Wizards' (40-37) two-game winning streak was snapped with the loss.
After holding the Wizards to a season-low 26 points in the first half, the Bulls' defense let up a bit in the third quarter and allowed Washington to explode to the tune of 35 points.
However, the Bulls firmly outplayed the competition in three of the game's four frames and coasted to an 18-point victory on the second night of a back-to-back.
Joakim Noah recorded a double-double comprised of 21 points and a game-high 12 rebounds (four offensive) while dishing out three assists and recording one block. Carlos Boozer was steady as well, pouring in 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting.
As a team, the Bulls shot 44 percent from the field and 39 percent from three. Augustin accounted for six of the team's nine made triples.
Jimmy Butler led all players with a game-high nine assists, as well.
