Jimmy Butler scored 24 points and hit two free throws with 0.2 seconds remaining to give the Chicago Bulls a 106-105 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center Saturday night.

The Bulls played this one without Derrick Rose and Taj Gibson, who both sat out with ankle injuries, but Butler delivered.

Making his first appearance of the season after sitting out the first two games with a sprained thumb, Butler was sensational, getting to the free-throw line a career-high 15 times and making 11 of those attempts. His biggest play of the contest, however, was when he drew Timberwolves rookie Andrew Wiggins into the air with a pump fake, then drew the foul and hit the game-deciding foul shots.

Pau Gasol was also huge for Chicago, totaling 20 points.

Six Bulls players scored in double figures, with Aaron Brooks and rookie Nikola Mirotic combining for 28 points off the bench.

Minnesota wasted an incredible night from Kevin Martin, who posted 33 points and drained a three-pointer to put the Wolves up by one with 2.9 seconds left.

Ricky Rubio was also spectacular, handing out a career-high 17 assists.
