Pistons 107, Bulls 91—Final
The Detroit Pistons manhandled the Chicago Bulls during the second half, earning a 107-91 victory Saturday at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Detroit (25-44) trailed by 12 at the break but exploded for 63 points, including a 27-12 edge in the final quarter. The Pistons connected on 11-of-26 attempts from long range.
Reggie Jackson racked up 22 points and 11 assists, while backup point guard Spencer Dinwiddie added 10 points and 10 dimes. Tayshaun Prince grabbed crucial 10 rebounds, limiting the Bulls' efforts to stage a comeback.
Though Chicago (42-29) dominated Detroit in the second frame, a 20-0 run surrendered in the fourth quarter sealed the Bulls' fate.
Pau Gasol netted a game-high 27 points, and Aaron Brooks chipped in 19, but a 5-of-26 combined mark from Mike Dunleavy, Nikola Mirotic and Tony Snell hampered Chicago down the stretch.
