Chicago Bulls’ Schedule Breakdown and Record Predictions for December

With some pretty tough opponents on tap, the Chicago Bulls are going to need every advantage they can get to have a successful run before ushering in the New Year.

December 2014 is the second-busiest month of the season for this club with 15 games cued up for play. A majority of the contests will be at home, which should be a welcome relief from their road-heavy November stretch. The Bulls will face six teams from the West; intra-conference play will dominate the year’s concluding month.

As it stands now, nine of the December games are against teams who have winning records. Although things could change considerably in the weeks leading up to those faceoffs, it is an indicator of how competitive that part of the schedule should be.

The latter part of November has been tough on the Bulls, but there have been some positive breaks that bode well for the immediate future. Taj Gibson is out; however, Nikola Mirotic has been filling in very well, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Most importantly, Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol are active again.
