Chicago Bulls Get First Preseason Win, Cruise Past Washington Wizards

Put a win on the board for the Chicago Bulls, as they beat the Washington Wizards 107-96 Friday night. With the win, the Bulls moved to 1-2 in the preseason.

On a night where John Calipari sat courtside, Derrick Rose and John Wall did their best to show who was the better point guard.

With Kirk Hinrich making his United Center return in Wizards blue, the game was all about Rose and Wall.

Rose ended up getting the best of Wall, tallying 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in 30 minutes of action. While his counterpart, Wall, had 11 points and 6 assists in just about 29 minutes of action.

Although this is just a little sample size of things to come, Wall admitted that he is looking to get on the level of All-Star Derrick Rose.

"It's going to be a great challenge," Wall said. "All I can do is try to hold my own and … try to get his level."

Rose also had words of praise for the number one overall pick out of Kentucky, “It’s challenging, knowing you can guard a guy that fast. It gives me confidence for the next time I’m out there against somebody that mobile. He’s a good player.&rdquo ...
