Derrick Rose's return is still in question, with the answer getting closer and closer every day. But watching him play one-on-one with his teammates shows us that if and when he does come back, he'll be ready.

It's been a long road to recovery for Rose, and with the season winding down, it's getting more and more far-fetched that the dynamic point guard will end up returning. That's why seeing videos like this, of him actively competing with his teammates, is so reassuring.

The clip shows an excited Rose enjoying himself and looking entirely sure of himself in a bit of one-on-one. It isn't the look of a guy who is apprehensive about returning this season.

Rose's crossover looks smooth, his changes in direction are quick and decisive, and his ability to absorb contact and score seems as exceptional as ever.

However, with just 13 games left in the season, the Chicago Bulls are cutting it close in terms of adding Rose to the lineup in time to provide him with a smooth transition into the rotation.
