The Boston Celtics proved that their recent beat down at the hands of the Charlotte Bobcats was only because they didn't have Paul Pierce in the lineup.
Pierce led the Celtics to a 105-88 victory, and in doing so the Celtics moved even closer to working their way into the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference playoff standings.
The Celtics had an impressively balanced attack, with six players in double digits, and every member of their 11-man rotation on the scoreboard.
The same can't be said for the Bobcats, who had just three players in double digits—led by Jannero Pargo's 18 off the bench.
It's clear that the the only thing the Bobcats are working towards is increased odds at winning the number one pick in the 2013 NBA draft.
On the other hand, the Celtics are making a statement for being a very dangerous team in the East, although they currently sit at the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference.
