Interest in FIFA World Cup odds is at an all-time high in the USA. Even college baseball odds are getting more interest than ever. Regardless, the big betting event in the US is Game 5 between the Boston Celtics and the LA Lakers.

The Lakers-Celtics odds has Boston -2.5 with a total of 187. The series is tied at 2-2. Los Angeles comes in averaging 102 points per game compared to 98.6 for Boston. The home/road splits has LA getting .7 more points on the road than the Lakers at home.

However, Boston has a 1.8 better shooting percentage overall, including a prohibitive 2.3 in the home/road splits.

The Celtics allow 2.8 fewer points per game, but it’s about pace, not competence, as the Lakers permit .5 field percentage points less. In splits, Boston allows 2.9 fewer points per game, yet .5 more from the field.
