Celtics vs. 76ers: Celtics Look for Ninth Straight Win

The Boston Celtics will look for their ninth consecutive victory when they go on the road to take on the Philadelphia 76ers tonight. Boston won their eighth straight last night in a 105-89 win over the Denver Nuggets. The 76ers come into the game winners of their last two, including a 117-97 blowout win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday.

Looking at the NBA odds for tonight's game, the oddsmakers have the Celtics favored by 4.5-points over the 76ers with the total set at 193 points.

During the Celtics current winning streak, only one opponent has scored over 100 points, and only three have scored over 90. This team is winning because it is playing hard on both sides of the ball. Offensively you don't know who is going to beat you, as it could be Ray Allen one night, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, or Rajon Rando. I also love the addition of Shaq and the effort he is giving this team. O'Neal knows he isn't the superstar on this team, and he seems to be just fine with it.
