Celtics, Paul Pierce Agree On Four Year Deal

Paul Pierce has agreed to a four year, 61 million dollar extension with the Boston Celtics according to multiple reports. He will be 36 years old when this new contract expires so he will most likely finish out his career in a Celtics uniform.

This signing leaves the Celtics with one key objective left: signing Ray Allen. Allen has propelled Boston to two NBA finals appearances during his tenure, including a championship in 2008.

If they are able to sign re-sign Allen, the same core that led Boston to a finals appearance last season will be intact.

Boston is somehow reviving a dominant era and if they complete what many thought would be impossible and keep the team intact and performing at a high level, that would be showcasing superb management ability by General Manager Danny Ainge.
