Carmelo Anthony Wants to Be Dealt To The Chicago Bulls

Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reported yesterday that Denver Nuggets superstar Carmelo Anthony prefers to be dealt to the Chicago Bulls or New York Knicks.

It has been known that the Nuggets are seeking a trade in which they can receive draft picks and young talent in return for their franchise player.

While the Knicks are still in the hunt for Anthony, they cannot offer Denver enough attractive pieces to acquire No. 15.

Chicago, on the other hand, could offer a few attractive players that may entice the Nuggets organization to pull the trigger.

Second year forwards Taj Gibson and James Johnson are both young talent with plenty of upside. Gibson was selected onto the NBA All-Rookie First Team this past season and could back-up Al Harrington or fill the void for Denver's injured Kenyon Martin.

In addition, the Bulls can throw in small-forward Luol Deng who could take the place of Melo in the Nuggets starting line-up. Deng boasts a career average of 15.8 PPG and 6.5 RPG. Being just 25 years of age, the six year man out of Duke still has potential to improve his game.
