New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony reportedly may re-evaluate whether he wants to remain in the Big Apple for the long haul if the team doesn't upgrade the talent around him this summer.

Anthony May Exercise No-Trade Clause Thursday, March 17 Ian Begley of ESPN.com reported Thursday on what some in the Knicks organization are feeling about Anthony's future. His squad fell to 28-41 on the season following Wednesday's 121-85 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

"At times, we didn't even compete out there," said Anthony after the blowout, per Begley.

And Anthony wasn't wrong. However, New York has been more competitive this season than last, when Anthony was hurt and the Knicks finished 17-65. They've already far exceed their win total and are on track to receive another high draft pick as an asset.

With the salary-cap rise imminent and New York as an attractive free-agent destination, though, it's understandable for Anthony to long for a better supporting cast. The 31-year-old hasn't won much of anything in his NBA career and certainly wants at least one championship ...
