Carmelo Anthony: Denver Nuggets’ Star Not Revealing Likely Destinations

Unlike other NBA stars, Carmelo Anthony has decided to keep quiet about the rumors of where he’ll be heading to next summer.

Since acquiring the freshman from Syracuse University in 2003, the Nuggets haven’t missed a spot in the playoffs. He continues to remain in the top three in NBA scoring and has won a gold medal for his performance in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

Carmelo, known as "‘Melo," possesses what any team needs to win—speed, stamina, and a quick shot.

For the past seven seasons, the Nuggets have benefited greatly from the forward, but he needs to move on. Aside from George Karl’s uncertain but hopeful future as the coach, Melo has made it clear that he needs to do what is best for him and his family.

There are many teams waiting for him to opt out of his already-extended, three-year $65 million contract with Denver so they can be in contention for his services.

Honestly, this will be a tough choice for Melo.
