The Chicago Bulls defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 83-70 in Las Vegas Summer League action on Sunday night in a game that featured one team using its experience to defeat a younger team led by a rookie phenom.

Philadelphia's No. 1 overall pick from June's draft, Ben Simmons, didn't disappoint on Sunday after some rough shooting outings to begin his summer-league slate. Simmons made seven of his 13 shots to finish with 18 points, including several mid-range jump shots.

However, it was Chicago's balanced attack that helped it pulled away in the second half with 52 points after the break.

Cristiano Felicio and Spencer Dinwiddie, two players with NBA experience, caught fire after the intermission and combined for 31 points on 13-of-18 shooting in the contest. The Bulls' recent first-round draft pick, Denzel Valentine, also chipped in 13 points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists.

The Bulls moved to 2-0 in Las Vegas and will square off against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night. The Sixers, meanwhile, are now 0-2 in Sin City and next face the Golden State Warriors, also on Tuesday.
