Brook Lopez Scores 36, Devin Harris Injured in Nets Loss To Resurgent Knicks

If there was one word to describe this game, it would be “offense."

The New York Knicks defeated the New Jersey Nets 111-100 at Madison Square Garden in their first of four meetings.

The 111 points mark the most points the Nets have given up all season.

The Nets are now 81-80 all-time against the Knicks.

The Nets were coming off a great win over the Trailblazers, but the Knicks have now won seven of their last eight games. New Jersey has now lost six straight road games and fall to 6-12 on the year.

The Nets jumped out to an early 6-0 lead, but the Knicks answered right back with a 9-0 run of their own.

The first quarter was filled with offense on both sides and proved to be a back and forth battle early with many lead changes and ties.

Brook Lopez looked great early on, scoring 15 points in the first quarter on 5-of-8 shooting.

Sadly, the rest of the team only managed 13 points, and the Nets trailed 30-28 after one.

Danilo Gallinari and Raymond Felton scored seven each for the Knicks.
