Breaking Down the Partial NBA Schedule

We are still in early August but it’s never too early to start talking about the NBA schedule, considering we are coming off what was the biggest offseason in NBA history. The NBA offseason was filled with change, whether it’s LeBron James in his hour special deciding to “take his talents to South Beach”, Amar’e Stoudemire landing in the big apple, or the bizarre fact that Joe Johnson got the biggest check this summer. Yes it’s still early August but there is already great anticipation for the NBA season to start. Today the league released a partial part of the schedule, basically the three biggest days in the regular season NBA calendar, the opening night schedule, the Christmas day schedule, and the Martin Luther King Day schedule. It came as no surprise that the Miami Heat are going to be featured heavily in the national television schedule. The Heat will appear twice on national television in the first four nights of the schedule, and then on Christmas day they will travel to LA to face the Lakers in what will be the best matchup of the season.
