Brandon Bass Fishes for A Spot In Orlando’s Starting Lineup

It might have taken Brandon Bass until March, but the 24-year-old forward has worked his way into the Orlando Magic's lineup and is now making a run for a spot in their starting rotation.

Since leaving Dallas last summer to sign a four-year, $18 million contract with Orlando, Bass has struggled to fit in. 

The fifth-year man out of LSU had 28 DNPs in his first five months with the Orlando. But in March, Bass' luck began to change.

As his minutes increased, so did his production, as Bass averaged 7.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and one block per game.                                                                                                     ...
