Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal is dealing with a sore pelvis and it is uncertain when he will be able to return to action.

Beal Will Not Return vs. Hornets Sunday, April 10 The Wizards announced Beal's injury during the second half of their matchup with Charlotte.

Beal Has Been Plagued by Injury During NBA Career Beal has struggled to remain healthy to begin his NBA career. A variety of ailments caused him to miss extended action as a rookie in 2012-13 (missing 26 games) and last season (19). The 22-year-old also missed nine contests during his second season in the Association.

A left shoulder injury caused him to miss time earlier in 2015-16, and he also dealt with a sprained pelvis in early March.

If he continues getting banged up, Beal isn't likely to land a max contract in the summer, which he was hoping to earn through his performance on the court. The Wizards have been eliminated from the playoff picture after Friday's loss to the Detroit Pistons and have no incentive to rush Beal back if the injury persists.
