Beal Out At Least 2 WeeksSaturday, Dec. 12The Wizards announced Saturday that they would be sitting Beal for at least two weeks after discovering the "beginnings of a stress reaction in his lower right fibula."
Beal dealt with a left shoulder injury in November, which added to his lengthy injury history. Throughout his first three years in the Association, he's battled stress reactions in his right leg and a fractured wrist. He sat out Friday's loss against New Orleans as well.
Despite the injury problems already this season, Beal continued to shoot well from three-point range with a 38.9 percent success rate. His scoring output has increased to a career-high 19.8 per game, though the Wizards have struggled with a 9-12 record entering Saturday.
