Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers: Celtics Favored Big Over Sixers

The Boston Celtics will look to extend their 13-game winning streak tonight when they host the Philadelphia 76ers. These two teams met back on Dec. 9 in Philadelphia, where the Celtics won 102-101 thanks to a last second alley-oop from Rajon Rondo to Kevin Garnett. The Celtics come into this game off a 99-88 home win over the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, and are now 12-1 at the Garden this season.

Philadelphia will look to rebound from an embarrassing 121-76 loss at Chicago last night. The 76ers are still 8-4 in their last 12 games, and have a history of playing the Celtics close. Looking at the NBA spreads for tonight's game, the oddsmakers are all over Boston to win this game, as the Celtics are favored by 10 points over the 76ers at home.

It will be interesting to see how the 76ers bounce back from their performance last night at Chicago. It just didn't look like the 76ers were ready to play, and maybe they were looking ahead to the Celtics tonight. While I don't know if Philadelphia has what it takes to beat Boston on their home court this season, I do expect them to play much better than they did last night.
