Boston Celtics vs. Houston Rockets: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction

November 1st, 2014 by Garrett Jochnau Leave a reply »
It took just minutes for the Houston Rockets to build up a significant lead over the Boston Celtics.

Behind excellence from Terrence Jones and James Harden, they never looked back, defeating Boston 104-90.

With the win, Houston moves to 3-0 on the season, and 1-0 at home. Meanwhile, Boston drops to 1-1 as their away-game woes from last season continue.

Jones and Harden contributed 25 and 26 points respectively, with Jones adding 10 rebounds and Harden pitching in eight boards, six assists and four steals to fill the stat sheet.

Boston failed to find steady production anywhere, though Jared Sullinger did scrap his way to 14 points and nine rebounds. Jeff Green, though terrible from an efficiency standpoint, finished with 17 points.

The Celtics were especially poor from deep, narrowly avoiding an NBA record by going 1-22 from deep.

Boston and Houston next play Dallas and Philadelphia, respectively, on Monday.
