Boston Celtics vs. Chicago Bulls: Live Score, Results and Game Highlights

December 18th, 2012 by Grant Hughes Leave a reply »
Joakim Noah and the Chicago Bulls bounced back from their disappointing loss to the Memphis Grizzlies by knocking off the Boston Celtics. Chicago took an early lead on the strength of a 14-point first quarter explosion from Luol Deng and kept up the intensity the rest of the way.

Noah finished the game with his second career triple-double, amassing 11 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists.

The Bulls shot over 50 percent from the floor and also won the rebound battle with a margin of plus-eight. Chicago shared the ball beautifully as well, totaling 28 assists on their 37 made field goals. The Celtics simply couldn't match The Bulls' intensity, and were a step slow to loose balls and rebounds all night.

Rajon Rondo finished with a team-leading 26 points, but in a rare occurrence, failed to hit double figures in assists. He finished with just eight.

The loss was the third in a row for the Celtics, who dropped to 12-12 in defeat and looked frighteningly old and unathletic. Chicago moved to 14-10 with the win.

Final Score: Bulls 100, Celtics 89
