No. 1 Lakers over No. 8 Thunder in 6 games:

Most people seem to think that Phil Jackson's comments about Kevin Durant getting all the calls will help the Lakers. Well that guy is a pure scorer and he's only 21, so I think that what he said is just added fuel to the fire! Westbrook is the breakout star in this series though, taking advantage of the Laker PG's to win 2 games THIS YEAR. Next year they will win a series. I guarentee it!

No. 2 Mavericks over No. 7 Spurs in 7 games:

This series will be brutal and physical, and you will see some flashes of the Spurs team we have seen form a mini-dynasty over the past decade. But in the end, the Mavericks trade deadline acquistions of Caron Butler and Brendan Haywood will be a key factor in this series. I feel Spurs will either steal a game in Dallas in the first two or will win every game in San Antonio before losing a game 7 back in Dallas.
