San Antonio Spurs big man Boris Diaw is suffering from a sore right adductor, and it is uncertain when he will be able to return to action.

Diaw out for Next 3 Games Monday, April 4 Paul Garcia of Project Spurs passed along word from the Spurs of Diaw's absence for games against the Utah Jazz, Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets. Diaw will not travel with the team.

Diaw a Valuable Player for Spurs Despite Diminished Role Diaw has assumed a smaller role all season following the arrivals of superstar power forward LaMarcus Aldridge and veteran David West, but he still ranks among the team's most valuable players thanks to his versatile skill set. 

Not only is the French forward able to operate as a classic big on the blocks, but he can handle the ball and open up unique pick-and-roll and pick-and-pop opportunities as a high-low passer.
