Blake Griffin Apologizes for Incident Involving Clippers Manager Matias Testi

Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin was apologetic Tuesday in discussing the altercation he had with assistant team equipment manager Matias Testi that caused the All-Star to fracture his right hand.

Griffin said he's "truly, truly sorry" for what happened, has spoken to Testi multiple times about the incident and regrets the decisions he made that evening, per Dan Woike of the Orange County Register.

"It's been tough to know that I've let my teammates down, let our organization down, let our fans down, my family, all of that," Griffin said.

Although the 26-year-old was already sidelined with a quad injury before he hurt his hand in the January incident, Griffin may not be able to suit up when he is healthy if the NBA decides to discipline him.   

"I exercised poor judgment. ... It's something I feel awful about," Griffin added, per the Los Angeles Times' Ben Bolch. Griffin also said he doesn't need anger management courses and said of the fight, "That's something I think about every day and I wish I could take it back."
