Bikini Basketball League’s Miami Spice Steals Seattle Supersonics’ Logo

The Bikini Basketball League will not enter its inaugural season without accusations of some sexy plagiarism taking place. 

It seems the Miami Spice franchise used a great deal of the classic Seattle SuperSonics logo. 

Don't take my word for it. See for yourself. 



That would be two logos, one used for decades by the former NBA team so beloved in the Emerald City. The other is the logo used by a team that will soon place a bunch of hot women in bikinis on a basketball court and call it a job well done. 

Judging by the possible copyright infraction, this league will be just like the Lingerie Football League, but lazy. 

Royce Young of CBS Sports offers, "I don't really know if that crosses the ground of copyright laws or if it's a fair use thing."

The Sonics have been defunct since the 2007-2008 season. After that year, the franchise was moved to Oklahoma City and rebranded the Thunder.
