The New York Knicks fell to 3-6 on the season with a 110-90 loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night at Madison Square Garden. 

Atlanta was aided by a balanced offensive performance, one that saw eight players finish in double-figures. Point guard Jeff Teague led the way with 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting while Kyle Korver poured in 15 points and Paul Millsap and Al Horford scored 14 and 12 points, respectively. 

The biggest surprise for the Hawks, though, was the play of backup point guard Shelvin Mack, who posted a double-double with 12 points and 12 assists while recording a team-high mark of plus-24 in the plus/minus. 

For the Knicks, it was the same old story.

Offensive inconsistency reigned supreme, and Carmelo Anthony was the only player who could work himself into a rhythm. He finished with a game-high 23 points on 8-of-21 shooting and added 12 rebounds to his final line.
