Are the Oklahoma City Thunder a Legit Playoff Contender?

For a less than average team, beating the Sacramento Kings is nothing to brag about.  However, when you beat the Pistons on a Friday night on the road, it certainly shows that you have some spark.

The Oklahoma City Thunder didn't get their third win of the season until their 27th game last year. It's not even two weeks into the season, and the Thunder have already reached that mark. Is it time to throw away the "Thunder suck" comments?

Now give Orlando somewhat of a break, but even without Vince Carter, you're suppose to beat a team that had the third pick in the draft last year

Coach Brooks, and the young OKC squad, blew out the Magic, 102-74. The Thunder were 57 percent from the floor, while the Magic shot a mediocre 37 percent from the floor on Sunday night.

Kevin Durant led the way with 28 points, and behind him was Russell Westbrook with 17.  The Thunder were on fire going into the second half, and outscored the Magic, 26-13.
