Archie Goodwin Arrested: Latest Details and More on Suns Guard

News of a May 4 arrest at a skating rink in Arkansas involving Phoenix Suns guard Archie Goodwin surfaced on Tuesday.   

Goodwin, 19, a first-round pick initially by the Oklahoma City Thunder whose rights were traded to Phoenix during the 2013 NBA draft, was charged with refusal to submit to arrest and disorderly conduct, according to AZCentral.com's Paul Coro.

When he was being taken into custody outside of a skating rink, Goodwin resisted and was yelling profanities at someone as he was being pulled away.

That led to his booking in a Sherwood, Arkansas, jail. Goodwin will have a hearing on June 3 with regard to the charges at Little Rock's Arkansas Skatium. The bizarre saga unfolded at around 11 p.m. on the night of the arrest.

As one of the University of Kentucky's many one-and-done recruits, an additional year in college may have allowed Goodwin to further develop his game.
