New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis suffered an undisclosed right foot injury that will prevent him from suiting up for at least one game.

According to the team's official Twitter account, Davis suffered the injury in pregame warm-ups. He's listed as day-to-day, per the team.
It would be a devastating blow for the Pelicans if Davis misses extended time, especially since the team got off to a slow start and has struggled to establish consistency after making the playoffs last season.
As for Davis, he already suffered a hip injury, back injury and concussion earlier in the campaign, and the 68 games he played in 2014-15 were a career high for a player who has continuously dealt with physical setbacks.
When healthy, the three-time All-Star is one of the best players in the league. He earned first-team All-NBA honors after averaging 24.4 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per contest last year and is posting 24.1 points, 10.2 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game in 2015-16.
