Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut suffered an adductor strain in the first half of Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Bogut Ruled Out for Remainder of Game 5

The Warriors confirmed Bogut would not play in the second half, adding the injury was to his right adductor. Ethan Strauss of ESPN.com noted Bogut came out onto the court before the third quarter to meet with trainers before heading back to the locker room.
Bogut had four points, four rebounds and three assists in nine minutes before exiting.
While the Dubs won last year's NBA championship thanks largely to their small-ball approach, Bogut continues to play an important role as their go-to big man and primary rim protector.
The 7-footer's production has been modest with 5.4 points and seven rebounds per game during the regular season. But the Aussie's presence keeps the opposition honest, and his ability to both set screens and pass on offense make him valuable.
