The Golden State Warriors have locked up center Andrew Bogut to a multi-year extension.

Bleacher Report's Ric Bucher broke the news and reported the team will hold a press conference at 6 p.m. PT (9 p.m. ET) on Friday.



Yahoo! Sports Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the extension would be for three years and $43 million.



NBA.com's David Aldridge noted that both Bogut and the Warriors wanted to get a deal done before the season started.



Last year was Bogut's first with Golden State, after moving from the Milwaukee Bucks in a trade that sent Monta Ellis the other way. He averaged 5.8 points on 45.1 percent shooting and 7.7 rebounds in just under 25 minutes per game with the Warriors.
