Is Andre Miller Ready To Leave Portland?

The veteran Trail Blazer point guard talked about his chances of leaving Portland this season and said "I don't really care, really," Miller told FanHouse on Wednesday. "You know what I'm saying? I would like to stay put, but it's a business and anything can happen."

Miller's acknowledgement of this is nothing new, all players know it is a business and things can happen, but for a team stuck in third gear with little potential to push it any further, trading Miller might be the best move.

The Blazers have been ravaged by injuries to key players and have decided it may be time to move forward with the core of Nicolas Batum, Wesley Matthews and LaMarcus Aldridge.

Andre Miller is a 34-year-old point guard that still averages about 13 points and seven assists per game. He's about as durable as they come and brings veteran leadership and in game savvy to any team.

His contract is not an issue as he has an option for next season and would cost a team no extra money if they chose not to keep him.

He is not, however, a game changing point guard at this stage in his care ...
