Andre Iguodala: Why the Philadelphia 76ers Should Consider Dealing Him

Okay, so things seem to be pretty cut and dry with the Philadelphia 76ers. They are 2-10 in the first 12 games of the Doug Collins era. They are struggling to play consistent ball on both sides of the floor and struggling to find that one or two players that can come through every night.

Some nights it's been Jrue Holiday. Sometimes Louis Williams, Thaddeus Young, Evan Turner, or Elton Brand. The man that the Sixers brass and the majority of the fan base expect to be that star every night is Andre Iguodala and thus far, that has not been the case.

Granted, Iguodala has dealt with some nagging injuries coming off a summer where he did not get very much rest due to playing with team USA. He has also looked good in flashes this season but has not been the consistent leader that the Sixers need.

All of these circumstances have brought about questions about his future in Philadelphia. Some say that Iguodala wants to get to a winning franchise and many believe that he will only maximize his potential as a team's No. 2 or No. 3 option, not the No. 1. The Sixers fan base seems to be somewhat on the fence.
