Andre Drummond Injury: Updates on Pistons Star’s Head and Return

Andre Drummond suffered a head injury against the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night.

The Detroit Pistons big man took an elbow from Roy Hibbert, per ESPN.com's Daily Dime:

At first, the injury looked much scarier, as a stretcher was brought out, before Drummond walked off the court with the help of a team trainer, per Candace Buckner of The Indianapolis Star:



Coming into the game, the second-year forward was fourth on the team in points per game (13.3) and first in rebounds (12.9). He's only one board per game behind NBA leader DeAndre Jordan.

Drummond's performance has been one of the team's lone bright spots this year. Spending huge money on Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings in the offseason hasn't worked at all, but Pistons fans have at least been able to enjoy the progression of their emerging frontcourt star.
