Allen Iverson Returns: A.I. Is Coming Back To the States, But Not for the NBA

Former NBA superstar Allen Iverson, will be in the United States again, but not to play basketball in the NBA. Iverson is returning to have a lesion removed in his leg.

Iverson certainly plans on returning to his Turkish team just in time for the playoffs.

The condition that Iverson has is painful, but Iverson's manager Gary Moore says that A.I. will not retire due to his condition.

It has been reported that the lesion in Iverson's leg is pressing up against his bone and he will need surgery in the United States.

After the removal of the lesion, doctors say Iverson will miss about 4-6 weeks but should be back with his time in time for the playoffs.

The 11-time NBA All-Star has stated that he is happy with his career in Turkey and since he does not plan to retire after the surgery, it is obvious that Iverson will finish out his deal with the Turkish team that is $4 million.

The 2001 Most Valuable Player spent 17 seasons in the NBA, 10 of those with the Philadelphia 76ers.
