Allen Iverson Back Back in Philly Philly

Tonight, Allen Iverson will once again don a 76er jersey when Sixers meet the Nuggets in Denver.

After failed excursions with the Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, and most recently, the Memphis Grizzlies, questions abound about how will the former MVP and little man will fare back in his old digs of Philadelphia.

Will he be the team chemistry killer that he has displayed in the past?

Does he have anything left in his tank? Can he help a team win?

Are the Sixers right in bringing him back to Philly?

I have never been a fan of Allen Iverson. I think he is a ballhog, a horrible defender and not a good teammate.

Even at his apex, I would have rather had a number of different stars over him. Having said that, I love his competitive fire and I believe he truly does love to win, though he just doesn’t totally get “how to win.”

Ultimately, I think the Sixers are in luck. I think Iverson is going to be an asset for them and get them over this hump that they are in. I believe he can still score and be effective, which is something Philly desperately needs from its backcourt with the likes of Lou Williams sidel ...
