The Boston Celtics advanced to the Eastern Conference final on Saturday, dispatching the scrappy Philadelphia 76ers, 85-75.

The Sixers gave a valiant effort, but they couldn't overcome Rajon Rondo and the championship-tested Celtics.

After Paul Pierce fouled out with just over four minutes remaining, things looked good for the upstart Sixers. Unfortunately for Philly, Rondo went bonkers with Pierce on the bench, scoring seven straight points to help the Celtics pull away.

He finished with 11 fourth-quarter points on his way to his ninth career playoff triple-double.
