76ers Turn Half-Court Shot into Buzzer-Beating Layup vs. Knicks

Seeing the clock winding down at the end of the first quarter of Friday night's game against the New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers forward Jerami Grant threw up a shot from beyond half court with about 3.5 seconds left.

Grant's half-court heave didn't go in, but it did hit the backboard—and bounced right to T.J. McConnell. And there just happened to be time still left on the clock.

McConnell's layup beat the buzzer to cut the Knicks' lead to 30-23.
