2011 NBA Draft: Mock Draft First Round Breakdown and Analysis

The lottery very likely isn’t going to be what it is now when the real show takes center stage next June. Some of the guys on this list will have seen their stock plummet, will have been injured, or might even take their names out of the hat before the 2011 NBA Draft.

With that said, it’s never too early to get a list of 30 guys who have a realistic chance (if they so choose) to be drafted by an NBA team come June 2011. Things are guaranteed to change, but as of now, this is where these young fellas and their proposed future NBA team stand:

1. Los Angeles Clippers–Harrison Barnes, SF, North Carolina

They might have the point guard of the future in Eric Bledsoe, and appear to be set everywhere else but possibly small forward. With no point guards currently screaming “No. 1 pick,” the athletic and versatile Barnes looks to be the top pick.

2. Sacramento Kings–Perry Jones, SF, Baylor

Still very raw, but quite arguably the top talent that could enter the 2011 NBA Draft. Perry has excellent height and length for a wing, and could give the Kings another impact player to pair with Tyreke E ...
