Odds to Win the 2010-11 NBA Finals

 The Portland Trail Blazers are showing some solid odds to win the NBA Championship at 25-to-1.  That means the odds makers are giving Portland less than a four percent prospect of pulling it off.

 

Odds to Win the West

 The Blazers have the fifth strongest NBA odds to win the West at 12-to-1, behind L.A., the Thunder, the Spurs and Dallas.  That gives the Blazers about an eight percent probability of representing the West in this year’s Finals. 

 

Strengths

 The Blazers' offense centers around two things: no turnovers and offensive rebounds.  The Blazers do not turn the ball over, and they are big enough in the paint to grab plenty of boards to give the offense a second look.  This is why the Blazers were third in shot attempts per possession last season and still scored a decent amount in spite of having the slowest pace in the NBA.
