With the 2010 NBA Draft quickly approaching on Thursday the 24th, it's just about that time to break down the top five potential draft picks.

While most believe certain players are a lock to get drafted by a specific team, you can truly never know until the fat lady sings or until commissioner David Stern announces the pick.

Breaking Down the Top Five Potential Draft Picks

 

1st Pick: Washington Wizards —John Wall

According to Neal Leitereg of NBAPrimetime.com, the Wizards have opted to not work out Ohio State's Even Turner .

With that in mind, it's pretty much a guarantee that the Washington Wizards will be selecting Kentucky's John Wall with the first overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.

Wall will team up with Washington's guard Gilbert Arenas in the back-court. The duo could emerge as a serious threat in the Eastern Conference, especially if Agent Zero can remain healthy for more than a month.

 

2nd Pick: Philadelphia 76ers —Evan Turner
