Brad Miller has agreed to a contract worth $15 million over three years with the Houston Rockets.
The 7'0" center, who has been around the league for 12 years and has played with the Bulls back in 2000, has played there for two seasons until he got traded to the Indiana Pacers before he came back to the team in 2008.
Back in '08 during mid-season, after a stint with the Sacramento Kings, he came back to the Windy City in a blockbuster-trade, that included, John Salmons for Andres Nocioni, Cedric Simmons, and Drew Gooden.
He played all 82 games and started 37 of them. He was brought to the team to be a veteran presence for the young Joakim Noah, who he helped mature and develop his game. Noah expressed how he felt towards Miller. He wrote in a text message sent to ESPN Chicago, "I learned a lot from Brad, it's going to be very different with him not around. He's a real professional."
After playing some good basketball, Miller was pursued by a couple of teams including Boston and Miami, besides the Bulls trying to re-sign him.
