Although the market could remain fairly silent until LeBron James makes his decision, it appears that Chris Bosh might in fact be the first free agent to decide on a destination. According to multiple reports, Bosh is in favor of a sign-and-trade that would provide him with the most lucrative deal possible. Although Bosh has likely consulted with James and the other members of the free agent class, conventional logic suggests that he won’t necessarily wait on others before make his intentions known. The logistics of a sign-and-trade would slow down the process a bit, but Bosh is eventually likely to end up with the franchise of his choice. At this hour, the Raptors are reportedly prepared to offer Bosh a maximum contract. It appears likely that Bosh will take the deal with no intention of remaining in Toronto.
