2010 NBA Finals Odds and Team Predictions: New Orleans Hornets

NBA Championship Odds:  Not a lot of respect by the odds makers to the New Orleans Hornets this year.  Chris Paul and company are listed at 80-to-1 to win the NBA Finals, which is about a one percent probability.

Western Conference Odds:  Plainly, if the NBA line makers are not giving the Hornets much of a probability to win the title, they obviously would not be sold on them to win the West, either.  That certainly is the deal with the current betting odds being 30-to-1, meaning around a three percent chance they will be the the Western Conference champion.

Strengths: This team is centered around Chris Paul.  He needs to stay on the court this year after being in just 45 games a season ago.  He is the top point guard in the league and can be counted on to contribute 19 points and 10 plus assists per game.  He also will have the strongest starting lineup to work with that he has had in his career.
