It's hard to be a Clipper fan.

Imagine following a team that takes two steps backward for every one step forward. A team without a coach, an actor for General Manager and an owner that gets as much respect as Tiger Woods at a NOW convention.

Soccer fans in America think they have it rough; no way Jose. Clipper fans have it worse; Clipper fans have it the roughest.

When word came out a few weeks ago that something good might happen, Clipper Nation just let out a collective sigh. They knew that the chances of David Geffen prying the Clippers away from Donald Sterling's greedy lil paws was slim to none. Perez Hilton has a better chance getting invited to a Cyrus family dinner.

It's hard to be a Clipper fan.

First round draft picks are busts. When they seem like they can actually play, they get hurt. If the team manages to land a great player, they leave. It's just the Clipper way. The franchise seems to be allergic to success.

All this happens in the shadow of one of the greatest NBA franchises in the history of the Association.
