2010-11 NBA Season: Oklahoma City Thunder Weekly Recap

As the first week of basketball comes to a close, the Oklahoma City Thunder have a predictable record of two wins and a loss.

However, the 2-1 record is rather misleading, as the Thunder could easily be rocking two losses right now.

Many players aren't playing like themselves right now, apart from Russell Westbrook.

For example, James Harden shot poorly again last night, going 0-5 from trey land. He has struggled in all three games this season.

Kevin Durant has spurts where he's shooting well and knocking down shots, but the rest of the game he'll just be off and brick shots left and right.

In short, the offense isn't clicking, and the defense isn't where it needs to be.  The only time I've seen the defense close to where it was in the playoffs was in the last two minutes against the Bulls.

For the other 36 minutes, the Thunder didn't really have any answer for Derrick Rose.  He basically proved me wrong on his ability.  He is easily in the top three in finishing at the basket, on top of having elite speed.
