Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the NBA's all-time leading scorer, still knows how to get buckets in the political arena.
Speaking at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia on Thursday night, Abdul-Jabbar had a message for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump (via CNN):
"I'm Michael Jordan, and I'm here with Hillary [Clinton]. I said that because I know that Donald Trump couldn't tell the difference," Abdul-Jabbar said.
Abdul-Jabbar, 69, wrote a column in the Hollywood Reporter on June 1 in which he likened Trump to a reality TV star. Incorporating another NBA legend into his Trump joke at the DNC was some next-level material.
