Magic Coveting Crawford After Victor Oladipo Trade Tuesday, June 28 Sam Amick of USA Today reported the buzz on Crawford, referencing Oladipo's departure to the Oklahoma City Thunder as the primary reason for the Magic's interest. Orlando traded Oladipo as part of the haul exchanged for power forward Serge Ibaka.

Crawford is a three-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award winner and nabbed the accolade this past season, when he averaged 14.2 points per contest.   

As Orlando's roster stands, the deal means the Magic will ask last year's No. 5 overall pick, Mario Hezonja, to step up into a huge role in 2016-17. He could use a mentor like Crawford not only to show him the nuances of the game, but also to spell him and play key minutes.
