Denzel Valentine emerged as one of the best players in college basketball during his senior year with the Michigan State Spartans. The 22-year-old will hope to have similar success in the NBA after the Chicago Bulls selected him with the 14th overall pick in the 2016 draft. 

Valentine averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game for Michigan State in his senior year.

One long-term concern for Valentine could be his knees. In his mock draft on June 16, CBSSports.com's Gary Parrish reported the Spartans star has a "fairly significant knee issue." Valentine missed time in his senior season after having arthroscopic surgery to repair torn cartilage in his left knee.

He doesn't think his knees will present a problem in the future, though.
